On Sunday, we left for the airport and relaxed in the Air New Zealand lounge. We boarded our 14 hour flight back to LA, and it was hard to believe our honeymoon was actually coming to an end! We watched a few movies (One for the Money & The Vow) and enjoyed an entire row to ourselves. At some point we crossed the International Date Line and experienced time travel for the first time! We woke up to breakfast and our flight landed at LAX. We were back where we started six weeks ago: 12 countries, 17 flights, and countless adventures later. Our honeymoon of a lifetime – our personal circumnavigation of the globe – was complete, just as our married life together was beginning.
